1. Who controls your data

Tyrese Mclean, a sole trader trading as Arden Performance, is the data controller for the information you give us. You can contact us about your data, or request a business address for service, at hello@ardenperformance.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to book and carry out your tune:

  • your name, email address and mobile number,
  • the address where the work will be carried out,
  • your vehicle registration and details (make, model, engine, current specification),
  • notes you give us about the vehicle or the result you want,
  • your signed service agreement and the answers in it, and
  • the calibration files read from and written to your vehicle.

We do not store card details. We do not ask for anything we do not use.

3. Why we hold it, and our lawful basis

  • To provide the service you booked and to contact you about your appointment — this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To keep proper records of work done and agreements signed — our legitimate interest in running the business and our legal obligations.
  • To restore your vehicle to standard if you ask — performance of our contract and our free reversal promise.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. We share the minimum necessary with:

  • the specialist calibration partners who produce the tuning file for your specific vehicle, who receive the technical details needed to build that file,
  • our email provider, which sends the sign-in links and booking updates you receive from us, and
  • professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your booking and agreement records for as long as needed to support your warranty, your free reversal period and our legal obligations, and then we remove them. We keep your factory backup for at least the 12-month reversal window so we can always put your vehicle back to standard.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold about you,
  • correct anything that is wrong,
  • delete your data where we no longer need it,
  • provide your data in a portable form, or
  • stop or limit how we use it.

Email hello@ardenperformance.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. Sign-in and cookies

We use passwordless sign-in: we email you a secure link or one-time code, so there is no password to store or leak. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in to your account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
