Motorsport and emissions disclaimer
Some of the work we offer is for off-road and motorsport use only. Please read this before requesting it. We say it plainly because the law is plain.

1. What this covers
This disclaimer applies to any emissions-related change, including but not limited to DPF (diesel particulate filter), EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) and AdBlue / SCR modifications, and to any tune supplied for track or competition use.
2. Off-road and motorsport use only
These modifications are supplied strictly for vehicles used off the public road, on private land, or in motorsport and competition. They are not supplied for road use.
Removing or defeating a vehicle's emissions control equipment and then using that vehicle on a UK public road is an offence. It breaches the Road Vehicles (Construction and Use) Regulations 1986, and such a vehicle will fail its MOT emissions test.
3. We require a signed declaration
Before we carry out any emissions-related or motorsport work, you must sign a declaration confirming that the vehicle will be used only for off-road or motorsport purposes and not on a public road. Without that signed declaration we will not do the work.
4. Your responsibility
By requesting this work you accept that how the vehicle is used afterwards is your responsibility, not ours. You agree to keep us harmless from any fine, penalty, prosecution or loss arising from use of the vehicle on a public road contrary to this disclaimer.
5. We can say no
We may decline any emissions-related request at our discretion, and we do not offer this work as part of our standard road-going services. Our conservative road maps never require it.
